My beautiful Mother, Irene Theresa Hart passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family and friends at 2:55 pm on Friday, August 18 2017 at True Davidson Acres.
My mother Irene was born in Khurda Road, Orissa, India, and was the beloved middle daughter of Ernest George & Elizabeth Agnes (nee Traish) Chapman.
Irene was the beloved mother of Yvonne John (nee Hart).
She was a loving sister to Margaret Mary Myers, Cecelia Kingston Parnham, George Lushington Chapman and Herbert Wilfred Condrad Chapman.
Her family and the friends she held dear were always an important part of her life. She was a loving and involved Aunt to her many nieces and nephews as well as her grand and great grand nieces and nephews in Canada, England, Australia and India. She was always my staunchest ally, my beloved friend and a most loving mother.
A Visitation & memorial service celebrating my mother's life is planned for 11:00 am Wednesday August 23 2017 at the Giffen Mack Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Avenue, Toronto. Main & Danforth is the main intersection. A light luncheon will be served following the service.

Rest in peace Mum; you have lived a life that is full and are now safe in the arms of Jesus.
When I'm Gone
When I come to the end
of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can,
that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done,
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had
loads of fun.
Forget that I've stumbled
and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought
some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day,
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
But in summer
just gather some flowers
And remember
the place where I lay,
And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints
the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.
