I remember when l wanted to be a lifeguard but l was nervous to attend the test in the West end of the city and l was thinking of not going. I told my mom who told me l can do anything and that l was the best qualified person in the city for the job. I attended the test did very well and l got the job at Summerville Olympic pools. Even though l was in excellent physical condition my mental condition was not as strong and most of my life up until thatday ll battled with insecurity issues. If l did not attend that test l would probably be dead or in jail today. Thanks mom

We had so many good times together. I always appreciated how beautifully Irene could swim especially because I could not. She was my big sister and there are countless reasons why I will so miss her. Love always, Laura


Auntie Irene had such a lovely personality. People were drawn to her smile and her warmth. God bless her family. I know they will miss the presence of such a caring individual.
