74, born Aug 16, 1938, Bloemfontein, South Africa, died in his sleep at home Sun May 5, 2013. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Sonia (nee Tkachuk), sons, J.W.S. (Bill) (Rosalina Silva), & Garth, mother-in-law, Nina Tkachuk, sister Susarah van der Vyver of South Africa, & many nephews and nieces in Canada, USA, South Africa & Australia. Predeceased by brothers, Hendrik & Adriaan of South Africa. Viewing will be held on Tuesday May 14 at Trull Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, at 10 am. Funeral held there at 12 noon.
