Jackie was my second cousin I’m Stephen Saint George Eatmon my father and  Jackie were cousins and I’m sorry to have lost her so soon after her mother Margery (Brooks) Lewis   Passed away in 2000 . jackies  grandfather Stephen A. Brooks was one of canadas first black shoulders to fight for Canada in WW1 and Jackie was a wonderful caring and loving person and family member  she is very much missed  I must say Jackie and her family have helped the city of Toronto and the country of Canada  become a better place to live and grow and they have helped make change for the better in us all by rising to the challenges of life and obsession during the early years of this countries history and succeeding in all aspects of life  they helped others they educated others and they gave  with love in there hearts while teaching others in order to make those people become better people bless them all and Jackie really cared for her friends ,family and colleagues . Jackie was a very kind, gentle  and caring person, although we were neighbours for just a few years I enjoyed our conversations thoroughly while we were out and about doing things around our homes. She will be sadly missed....  Jackie RIP, put your feet up , enjoy your rest until we meet again !

Miss Jackie, Your care and kindness to the kids in your care and the true pleasure you showed when the kids graduated made Thomas's time with you a truly wonderful experience. You will be sorely missed by all the kids and families.

So much a part of my childhood growing up. You took us out on so many outings too numerous to mention in this space. But, I remember how much fun each one of them was.  It was always a new experience for my sister and I.  Something that we would brag to our friends about at school the next day. 

"Keep on Moving" this was a song that came out in 1989 by a group called Soul 2 Soul it was your song Aunt Jackie. You would always dance to it when it came on the radio. 

You will always have a special place in my heart and mind. Thank you for all that you did to help mold me into the man I am now.

We were so very saddened to hear about the passing of our dear neighbour, Jackie, whom we’ve known for many, many years. She was always so cheerful and friendly. We will miss her welcoming smile and our little chats. 

Jackie, you will forever be in our hearts!

I was very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Jackie. I have known Jackie for over 60 years, as she is the cousin of my best friend Mary Lou. Over the years I would see Jackie at social gatherings and more often at our local Metro store. We would have a nice chat & a few laughs. 
Jackie will be missed by many & my heartfelt condolences go out to her family & friends. She was lovely person.

Ms. Jackie was such a bright, cheerful and kind soul. She took care of my daughter for 3 years at the Mckie site Sunshine Daycare and conversations with her were always such a pleasant addition to my day. Her way with kids was truly admirable.
