Wow I cannot believe it has been 4 years already. You were always there to talk to when my mom was sick. Last time we spent time together I took you out for a couple drinks and we laughed about you with Facebook. (Not really using it that much) You were always true to me and proud to call you my cousin. Give the family a kiss from me and tell your mom I do miss her laugh xo

Stephen was the cutest,  strong, funny, kind adorable   loving child. Always protecting his sisters. I just loved him. Even when he squeeled over the bat dive bombing us on Leslie street.

Steve, you were such a great friend and neighbour of mine in the same building we lived in plus we both lived on the same floor in the building and I’m sorry to hear this sad news.  Last time I’ve seen you was just a week before you passed…. I don’t know what else to say. I’m still in shocked and you were an amazing person and friend to be around. I miss hearing your music. I miss you bugging me when you come knocking on my door if you needed anything if it possible I could. I miss it when you asked me for tea bags or sugar or milk or half and half cream if I did spare a little to give for you. I missed your jokes and laugher. 
It’s not the same without you around. Miss having you as my neighbour. It was great to know you and wish I got to know you a lot better . See you and until we meet again. R.I.p stevie

I keep finding myself coming to this page. Heading all the wonderful things people had to say about u. 
It's feels so nice to hear it all .
These past few weeks have been super tough. I keep thinking all the time we lost. What I would have given to have that time back. I'm absolutely greatful for these past few years. That we became actual father and daughter. But to just have one more day.. I keep asking myself why u??  Why when I needed u so much. But unfortunately we can't turn back the hands of time.
I am going to treasure every moment I did get.

Uncle,
As I write this it all seems a bit crazy, knowing you won't be reading it and all, so as I write, I'm going to speak aloud because I know your listening.

When I heard,
the feelings that came over me were happening so fast it was all so confusing but the one constant feeling, the one that took over was knowing you were not alone, you were not alone in that moment and you will never be alone again. You had a strong fierce warrior walking with you every step of the way. Your time with her is now and forever. Please hug her, every moment of everyday, and hug her a little tighter for me because we're down here looking to you all up there holding on to our wishes, and all the thing we should have and could have. But We will be strong together. 

Someone recently said to me,

Why do we wait to say I love you
To be the most honest version of ourselves,
To live happily and balanced 
To appreciate . . . Life 

Life, it all happens so fast, and it isn't until moments like this that we truly slow down and really begin to remember and appreciate our people, those we love. But then time hardens us all over again and we forget. 

If this short life I have lived has taught me anything it's that, we need to stop forgetting and live without waiting. Life my friends is far to short. Say it loud and a million times a day if needed, but don't wait. You never know when your ending here is awaiting a new beginning. Be happy now and know

I remember Steven at maybe 5-6 years following behind Nanny setting up tables at a wedding. He loved helping others always and he was pretty dam cute doing it too. I also appreciate being with him while he created the green ribbons for  Carols funeral. His love was all over those. I wear mine today and every day forward with extra appreciation. Steven was loving, respectful and caring any time I seen him. As his Aunt,  I was thrilled to support him when I could and loved him more when I couldn't .

This is so hard. I love you so much. I'm still in shock to be honest. I wish it was just a bad dream and I could wake up and have you here 🙂. But God had his own plan for you 
I'm so extremely grateful that u and I had these last year's. We were able to be father and daughter. I told you my deepest darkest secrets. And no matter if you didn't agree you still stayed by my side. Never judged me.  You might not have known but you become my rock.
With all going on with my mom. You stepped up. You knew I needed it and you were there 
For that Ill always be forever grateful!
We had some serious conversations that were hard for us both.
But we got passed it. And it made us closer 
I know you there looking down on me Kyle and your four grandaughters
