Jean Anne Jarvis Green

1931-2010

With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jean Green on March 31, 2010. Jean will be sadly missed by her loving children: Brian (Theresa), Kathy (Howie), Becky (Al), Jenny (deceased), Dan, Greg and Scott. Jean (“Nammi”) will also be missed by Weldon and her precious grandchildren: Michael, Lara, Caitlin, Daniel, Josh, Jenny, Nikky, Sarah and David whose lives she enriched in so many ways. Jean will be lovingly remembered by the Woolverton’s and Jarvis’s - the families of her late sister Mary (Bill) and brothers Herb (Kay) and Tommy (Mary Louise). Everyone will miss her large gatherings where family and friends were often serenaded by one of her famous poems.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME, 2704 Yonge St (5 blocks south of Lawrence) on Monday April 5 from 2-4pm and

6-8pm.The Memorial Service will be held at ST. CLEMENT”S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 59 Briar Hill Ave (at Duplex Ave)

on Tuesday April 6 at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jenny and Jean Green Social Justice Award at Ryerson University, 350 Victoria St, YNG 900, Toronto, ON M5B 2K3
