Dad,
 I am deeply heartbroken to know that my search for you has come to an end with your passing. I wish I had found you sooner and had the time to share our lives together and for you to meet your 3 grandchildren.
Dad I love you with all my heart and I thank you so much for my memories of you. I will cherish the picture of me on your shoulders walking past the Old Eastgate Square in Stoney Creek, Ont. I have always looked into your eyes and seen the happiness that was there and for that happiness in your eye made me the best Daddy I could be to my son and daughters.
 You would've loved them especially Aidan (my mini me). 
Remember the time that you met up with me in Ottawa when I was with Walt Disneys World On Ice and we kicked back and had such an amazing 2 hrs chatting. You had my total attention. I loved that I was sitting in front of my Dad and was hearing his stories. 

I want you to know Dad that no matter the time we were not together, you were always on my mind and I always will continue to remember you.

To Jerry and Family:

My "HEART" felt condolences to you, for your loss. You may find comfort in knowing that Jerry's presence here on his journey here, has affected the lives of many and it was a pleasure to have known him.

In our teachings of the Haudenonsaunee  (Longhouse), we've been taught that all of our Ancestors await our arrival, back HOME to the Creator's Land and they will celebrate our arrival, To be home with all of our Ancestors and the Creator (God). 

I grew up knowing Jerry as a kind man. He lived with us in Hamilton, my Mother & Father, guided his journey here and Jerry always had respect for my Mother, Father and all of us kids. I remember Jerry joining the Signal Corp. in the Can. Army reserves. He would always be exercising and running, sometimes I would run with him. I remember him cooking, his father had a restaurant in Napinee, I think? He told me stories of his brothers and sisters and his Father. I see Jerry-Lynn his daughter once in a while and always asked if she had heard from her father. My mother Clara Anne John Loft  and my Father Thomas "Tom" Loft were highly respected by Jerry and his partner. I would like to send my condolences to all of you, family and friends.

On a ki wahe, My Brother, - (I will see you later) Until we meet again, I ask that you will clear a path, that we may follow you, into the Creator's land. I will be along shortly.
