Jo Wallwork

June 13, 1969July 25, 2015

Jo Wallwork, 46, wife, mother, friend, sister, aunt, and cousin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Toronto East York General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved daughter of Barb Wallwork, she is survived by her son Jayce and husband Rod Gerster. Jo was an active volunteer in the East York community serving as a minor league baseball coach and manager of local hockey teams. We will remember Jo as an avid cyclist, who enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, and spending time with children, family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Toronto East General Hospital.

In the arms of her angels Jo is held lovingly and for eternity. At the sight of a tiny white feather brings comfort as we know Jo is in heaven with our Lord. God's eternal love comforts us, sustains us and replenishes us as He gives us all things and replaces what we have lost. Once in a lifetime we meet a beautiful soul as Jo was and her memory will never leave us.
