

Joan Louise Ziegler passed away after a brief illness in her 88th year. Throughout her life, Joan's dedication and warmth touched many, both through her professional endeavours and her personal passions.
Joan dedicated much of her career to working at Bell as an operator until she retired. Her commitment and hard work were evident in all she did, and she was a valued member of her team.
Joan is lovingly remembered by her family, including her two sons and one daughter. Jim Ziegler, along with his spouse Laurie Tkautz and Laurie's children Chris and Bronwyn Tkautz, and their children Olivia and Freddie, will miss her dearly. Mike and Martha Tkautz and their children Sophie and Gemma also hold fond memories of Joan. Eric Ziegler and Lori Ziegler, with her children Brittany McTavish, Brandy Ziegler and her daughter Rebeka, and Brady Ziegler, will cherish Joan's legacy. Joan's siblings, her brother Ken Campbell and sister Margaret Campbell, survive her. She was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Campbell, sister-in-law Barbara Campbell, and nephews Ken and David Campbell.
Joan's community involvement was extensive, particularly at the Eastview Community Center. She was a regular participant, whether going on day trips or engaging in bingo, and her presence there will be sorely missed.
Joan Louise Ziegler's life was marked by her devotion to family, work, and community. She leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories.
