John was born to Olivia (Keats) and Robert Anthony in Grand Falls, NL on July 8, 1945, and shortly after moved to Scarborough, ON.
Left to mourn are son, John, and daughter Denise (Frank), granddaughters Ashley (Kyle) and Melissa (Ryan), great-granddaughter Lavinia (Livy) and great-grandson Oliver (Oli), brothers George (Christine), Larry (Laura), Wayne (Donna), sisters Marie (Wayne), Jeanette (Paul), Meta (Martin), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
John is predeceased by wife Lavinia, parents Olivia and Robert Anthony, brothers Robert, Donald, Terry, Hedley, David, and sister Breta.
Visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Homes, located at 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON, M1K2B5, on January 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place at the same venue on January 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
