Jack passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Monday, May 9th, 2011 after several months of poor health. He will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband of Ethel (2002) and proud father of Rod (2007). Cherished grandfather of Tracey (Mark), Allison and Brent (Patricia) and a wonderful father-in-law to Helen. Over the years Jack had made many friends (both human& canine) during his walks at Taylor Creek Park. He will be remembered as a kind, generous man, who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. at the GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main Subway station) 416-698-3121. Service in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated.
