John passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 4, 2013 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Lois Elma Johnston. Loved father of James (Mary Catherine), Elizabeth Stewart, John (Christina), Philip (Merilee) and Robert ((Ingrid) Beloved niece Sherry Mahon. Dearly loved grandfather of Jacob (Fanny), Joshua, Amy (Jonathan), Emily, Bethany (Wes), Holly, Kate (Steve) and James. Dear brother of the late Donald Stewart and Doreen Myers (Rusty). Resting at the Giffen-Mack Danforth Funeral Home on Saturday, December 14th. Visitation from 10 am. until 12 noon. Interment to follow at Pine Hills Cemetery.

Asleep In Jesus

I am asleep in Jesus, the great Eternal Word.

though absent from the body now present with the Lord.

This earthly tent of dwelling desolveth with decay.

I am now awaiting the resurrection day.

In heaven and it's glory this body then shall be,

united to a body of immortality..

No more death and dying, enthroned with Christ above.

To bask in all His glory and revel in His love.
