With heavy hearts we share the passing of Jose Paixão Costa, who left us peacefully on January 8, 2025, at the age of 79. Jose was a man of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and a heart full of love for his family and work.
Jose devoted his life to the art of construction. He didn’t just build with his hands—he built with his heart, shaping not only the physical world around him but also the lives of those who knew him. From home renovations to annual wine making, his meticulous attention to detail and tireless effort were a testament to his pride in his craft.
Jose lived a simple, meaningful life, marked by dedication and devotion to his loved ones. He was the rock of his family, offering quiet guidance and unconditional love. His kind smile and ability to find joy in life’s simplest moments will remain etched in our hearts.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Sara; his sons, Sergio (Marlene) and Rodrigo (Adrianna); as well as his cherished grandchildren, Luca, Eleanora, Noemia, and Mateo, who brought endless light to his later years. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family, friends and colleagues whose lives he touched with his kindness and integrity.
May you rest in eternal peace, Jose. Though you are no longer with us, the love you gave and the legacy you built will live on in our hearts forever.
