On December 27th, 2014 in Toronto Joey passed away peacefully at home in his 65th year. He was known as a loyal and generous friend. He gave his time and energy to the Cabbagetown Toy Dance for many years. Beloved husband of Susan. Joe also leaves behind his children Sarah Robertson and Hunter Robertson. Also his sisters Joan (Henri Ratelle) Maureen (Denis Dube) Peggy (Ernie Patterson) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Joe was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ruby Hunter (nee Hammill) and also predeceased by his brother William (Bill) Hunter, nephew Darrin Scott and brother in law James (Jim) Bain. At Joe’s request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If so desired donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
