

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Ogilvie who suddenly left this world far too soon on October 16, 2025 at 53 surrounded by family and love.
Born January 6,1972 the youngest of five children, he brought light, laughter, and warmth into every life he touched. with rosy cheeks, a kind spirit, and the heart of a child. He reminded everyone around him of the simple joys and the importance of kindness. Joey had a true passion for life's little pleasures - weather playing darts, pool, cards or video games. Especially teaching all his nieces and nephews how to play video games. He found happiness in moments with the people he loved. Family meant every thing to him. Joseph will be deeply missed by his brother, devoted sister, addoring nephews, nieces, and precious great niece, who all cherished his gentle heart and playful spirit. A fighter to the very end Joey faced life's challenges with remarkable courage and unwavering optimism. Despite enduring more than his fair share of hardships, he never failed to find the silver lining or share his smile. Today family and friends gather to remember and honour the incredible man who brought so much love and laughter into our lives. Joey was and always will be an angel among us with a heart of gold, joyful soul and a reminder to spend today finding the joy in the little things.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 467 Sherbourne Street (at Wellesley St.), Toronto, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that donations be made to Diabetes Canada or Canadian Cancer Society in Joseph Ogilvie's name.
