Joy Enid Isaacs (née Bradford) passed peacefully with family by her side, after a battle with diabetes and other illnesses on January 4, 2026 at the Chartwell Retirement Residence. She is survived by her children Bryon, Orin (wife Mary), grandchildren Jason, Asha, Jazmin, Adina, Corina, Antonio, and great grandson Fabian.
Joy lived a life emblematic of her name. She will be remembered as a loving and joyful mother and friend. She was a bright light, devoted to family and friendships who enhanced every moment with laughter, love, kindness and grace. She lived a life infused with spirituality, happiness, generosity, compassion and music. She lifted up others with her counsel and creativity in her stories, sights and songs.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 4, 2026 at 1pm ET at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. West, Toronto, ON M6B 1E1. A visitation period precedes the services from 11am – 1pm.
