Dear Terry, Tessa and Shania. 

What can I say that has not been said before. The passing of my sweet sister Judy was a surprise to me and in a way I still cannot believe it has happened. I will always remember our wonderful phone calls and our visits when I was at CFB Kingston in the mid 90's and going to the Irish Pub to have lots of fun. I am so glad that my kids Meghan and Bradley got a chance to meet such a wonderful person as your mother/grandmother whom always reminded me sooo much of our wonderful mother Florence. I know we are not there in person to comfort you but know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and that you have family on the east Coast come visit ANYTIME.

There are no words to say when we lose a love one. Your moms passing was so suddenly but at least she did not suffer a long time.Our thoughts and prays are with you at this time. Keep in mind that you are not alone, that you have family in PEI. Love you and take care of each other. Love always Aunt Joyce, Uncle Kent and cousins Alex and Vicki MacDonald.

I have so many wonderful memories of my aunt Judy.  

I remember the Boy George T shirt she gave me when I was a little girl, and how it had my name on the back of it.  I remember the sleepovers I used to have with her while I was in university and how we'd watch Y & R together, speculating as to whether or not the actress who played Ashley Abbot was a man in real life.  I remember running into her at Broadview station on her way home from bingo, no doubt after she'd just won a bunch of money for the umpteenth time.  I remember how she made the best tasting chow ever.  I can still hear her singing happy birthday to me over the phone--the whole song, she wouldn't just sing the first verse or two, rather she'd always sing the entire song the whole way through, and there would always be country music blaring in the background.  I can still smell her Estee Lauder perfume and Yves Rocher hand cremes.  I can still see the Conway Twitty photo on her wall.

I will always remember her stubborn fearlessness, her independent spirit and her uncompromising insistence on doing things her way.  To me, Judy always had an heir of magic about her, an inextinguishable playful youthfulness, and inexplicably good luck.  Someone was always watching over Judy from above, it seemed.  And it warms my heart to know that now she is watching over us from above.
