Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the age of 98. Devoted wife of the late George. Cherished mother of Susan and the late Paul. Adoring grandmother of Daniel, Melanie (Shaun) and Nicholas (Wendy). Proud great-grandmother (G.G.) of Jesse, Kandice, Chelsey, Ashley, Matthew, Emma, McKenna and Spencer. Family friend of Chris and Waltraut Lang. Predeceased by her parents William and Marion Francis and siblings Verna, Fred, Charles and Kenneth. June will be fondly remembered by her family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Fairview Lodge, Whitby for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 10-11 am. Followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 am. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Salvation Army.
