Daughter to parents Anita Chanderbhan and Leslie Campbell. Wife to Godfrey Nobrega. Mother to Wayne Campbell. Raised in the Catholic faith, June was an individual with strong beliefs, morals and values.
Early in life, June was dealt a heavy blow, as her grandmother passed and then her grandfather. Her mother was then tasked to look after her ten siblings, leaving in turn for my mother to look after her four siblings.
She excelled in school in Georgetown, Guyana where she would receive top marks in her academic studies.
She Immigrated to Canada, Toronto on November 22, 1972.
She got her certificate for Data Entry, Shorthand Writing and Typing at Georgebrown College. She would then take a position as a bookkeeper.
June was married to Godfrey on the date of July 4, 1987.
She furthered her education in the late eighties/early nineties completing and receiving a diploma for Early Childhood Development.
Besides her son and husband, June leaves behind her younger sister Leisa, nieces Halina and Angela, aunts, godchild Julissa and younger niece Aliyah. All who she was very fond of and loves dearly. All of the other family members and friends have a special place in her heart.
Trust in God is what she believed, to the end. She would advocate one to take their education and excel. Strict, firm and an authoritative individual, but more loving and caring, especially for the children she helped raise. Anyone that would listen to her would be better for it and would find rewards with their efforts.
She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Those who were fortunate enough to absorb her light will be able to carry it and light a way.
Love you the most. God bless you and we love you.....forever.
