Kim ! 

  I don’t like the reminders as  I hadn’t seen you in years. Not sure how I came across your obituary so that’s how I found out She was always a hoot to be around now I am talking her like 21 me 16 I meant Dave and Kim through Rick Taylor. When they lived off Dawes with their grandma and her dog Buttons. 

I have lots of memories ! Honestly she was really young living at Massey square and she worked for a bank. She was so fun and full of life and had a good time and laugh at making fun of herself and the situations that she could find herself in. I do wish I had reached out later on in life. That I will regret for the rest of my life. So Sorry KIMMY ! Miss ya buddy ! XOXO

So sad to have come across this . I remember Kim when she work for a bank and she lived at Massey square with her Grandmother and Brother Dave that was along time ago probably 30 years ago . Kimmie I couldn't do this before. I couldn't deal with leaving memories when I just wanted you to come back. Like everyone else of course. I've just come from your funeral, words I thought I would never have to say. I'm writing this to you so I don't really care what readers think. You are a lovely friend, a far better one than I was. You are so much braver, because you allow yourself to be vulnerable. I'm going to really miss you. I have to say this too I knew that you were organized but I was gobsmacked that you literally directed your own funeral. It was perfectly timed and everything you would have been so proud. I haven't been able to play Celtic music because I shared a lot of it with you. Thank you for knowing me. Love you always, Shirley

Kim was my friend, and an amazing Peer Leader. She introduced me to the St. Stephens Community House, and guided me through peer training with her  knowledge ,passion and resilience  She was truly adored by so many. I am grateful to have known her, and the world has lost a beautiful soul. Kim, my Angel. Always. 

Dear Kim,

I’m having a really hard time dealing with the fact that there’s a Kim-shaped space of emptiness every time I’m at St. Stephen’s.

Work is just not the same without you, being such an active Peer Leader and standing up for the vulnerable. You demonstrated copious amounts of empathy for folks and taught me so much.

Sometimes when I’d get apprehensive, you’d spring into action and get the job done. You encouraged me to take more initiative and have my voice heard.

I’m very saddened by your passing, and cherish the fond memories I have of working so closely with you. It’s been an honour and delight; I hope to carry on work that you’d approve of.

It has been an honor and a pleasure working together the past two years. You were admired by many with your positive attitude and willingness to take part in different programs and activities. You were reliable, kind and giving. Your passing has greatly saddened me and I will deeply miss you. I can still hear the sound of your voice in my head and I will hold onto your memories. Thank you for being you Kim!

Kimmy:  Words cannot begin to describe how deeply saddened and gutted I am by your passing.   You were such an incredible resilient and passionate person.   I have the fond memory of sharing a unique and sacred bond with you.  I take comfort in knowing that I was able to spend quality time with you in the past year.   I learned a tremendous amount about  the ability to connect emotionally with someone.   You were my mentor, friend, confidante, and love.  I hope your soaring through the heavens with the angels.
