Our mother, Laurel (Laurie) Joan Lyla Crawford Browne, passed away January 29, 2024, at the age of 78. She had a vibrant Bigger than life, personality and lived her life exactly as she chose, no matter what others may have thought. She was well known in her community, where she lived for 50 years and enjoyed helping others and her seniors club. She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Reid (Eric), and Andrea Browne, six grandchildren, Wesley, Kelsey, Courtney, Tahjae, Cassidy, and Tavian and her two great grandchildren Ethan and Aleah, as well as her sister, Bernice Crawford Marshall (Moxy) and brother, Richard Crawford, (Ruth) and many nieces and nephews. Laurie was predeceased by her mother, Ruby Eaton, (nee Smyth) father Wesley Crawford, and siblings Thelma Murphy, (nee Crawford) Redford (Reg) Crawford, Ronald Crawford and Barry Crawford and most recently her niece Katie Mason. As per her wishes there will not be a funeral service.
