Our sincere condolences Caitlyn, from the TEGH School of Nursing Alumnae Association. Linda was a member of the executive for many years, working tirelessly to keep our association alive and vibrant. Our hearts were filled with sorrow when we heard about Linda’s passing. Your Mom helped so many people and touched so many hearts during her nursing career. We hope you find comfort in the memories you shared.

Hi Caitlyn:  

We are so sorry for your loss.  Linda was a wonderful neighbour, who we got to know even more after Mardy sadly passed.  She was such a vibrant, wonderful, funny and lovely woman, who gave the greatest hugs.    Linda & Paddy passed our place regularly on daily walks, and often stopped by for dog & people chats, which kept us up to date on the latest Hutton Avenue news.  She also often shared the successes & achievements in your life, she was a proud Mom.  

Know that we are thinking of you, during this most difficult time.   We hope you can take some comfort in knowing that Mardy was waiting with a smile to greet Linda, and they are together again.

So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing.
Linda was a fabulous nurse and co-worker to me at TEGH. I never forgot her kindness and guidance to me as a new nurse in a very busy ER..  I always enjoyed our conversations (personal and work).
When Linda moved to True Davidson, she met my Mom (Mary). My Mom also had nothing but good to say about her.
Caitlin, hope you find comfort in knowing both your parents (I also enjoyed my conversations with Mardy) were fabulous people. May they continue to watch over you.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to you Caitlin.
I will always remember Linda and Mardy.  When Cathy and I moved onto the street on March 15, 1984,  we discovered a bottle of wine sitting at our front door with a card attached and the words “Welcome to Hutton Avenue” from Linda and Mardy.  What a nice way to start out in a new neighbourhood!
We lost touch over the years as life happened,  but Rest In Peace Linda.
