The family would like to thank the staff at Bendale Acres for their kindness and excellent care of our mother over the past 6 years. They were like family to her. Cremation has occured as per Lolita's wishes. A memorial visitation will take place at JERRETT FUNERAL HOME (660 Kennedy Rd. Grandma Lo-Lo,

You had the most creative imagination and told the best stories. I loved our time together, and always had so much fun at your house. I have so many amazing memories with you, and will cherish them always.

I hope you are enjoying your spot of Sherry up there!

Being the girl who lived next door many, many years ago, my fondest memory was being welcomed by Lolita to join her already-big family at meal time! She was warm and loving, opening her home and heart to welcome me to join in at any meal. Even though I'd already eaten, I never missed that opportunity! I also remember Saturday was the day Lolita put the house in order and everyone did their chores. In good weather, with windows open, you could hear her calling her children's names (hmmm...but mostly the girls as I recall) to get to the next task at hand!
So my dear childhood friends and neighbours, though I haven't seen you all in a very long time, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time in your life.
I hope you find comfort in knowing how much your mother was loved and admired, from near and afar. She is definitely with the angels now and I have a feeling that Heaven just got a little bit cleaner!
My sincerest condolences and love to you all! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Too many memories its difficult to write down! Grandma had the best backyard, made the greatest frozen OJ so frothy and cold...threw a baseball like the pro's and had the yummiest spiked raisins a little girl could ever eat.

I love you more than words will ever express and the memories we shared are so vivid, they are impossible to forget.

Forever in my heart xoxo

Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear the sad news about your Mom's passing.
I will always remember my favorite Aunt Lolita, for her big smiles and beautiful heart. I enjoyed so much my visit with her in August 2018 at her retirement home. She saw me come off the elevator with my Mom, her "baby sister" Pinkie, and recognized me right away by calling out my name with her big smile. We spent an hour together and I will always cherish that memory.
My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of you.
Your cousin Jackie, & husband, Dave

A parent is someone you have known all of your life, it doesnโ€™t matter how old you are. When that parent passes it feels as though you have lost a piece of yourself, i will miss her for a very long time.
Love you Mom, rest in piece with Mama and Papa.
