Lorna Bristol

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lorna Bristol (nee Benjamin) at the age 71, on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Lorna was born in Trinidad and Tobago to Olga and Charles Benjamin.

She married Oliver Bristol in Toronto, Ontario. Lorna attended school at St. Philips School and later worked at the Royal York Hotel. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Lorna is survived by her loving son Elton Marksman; her caring siblings Ella, Wayne, and Alston (Boboy) Benjamin; her beautiful grandchildren Sasha, Isabella, Julianna, Jaden, and Terisha; her beloved nieces and nephews Kesha, Joanne, Oba, Bones, Emmanuel, Jahmi , Ahkel, Onel Solomon and the rest of the Solomon nieces and nephews, Okono Parcell, Kesha Parcell, Alicia George, Junior and Trisha Charles , Kesha Benjamin and the rest of her great nieces and nephews.

Lorna will be deeply missed by her best friends Nicole Monroe, Valman Monroe and Sterlin Alexander.

Lorna was preceded in death by her son Calos Benjamin; her parents Olga and Charles Benjamin; her brothers Gerald Charles, Daniel, Freddy and John Benjamin.

A visitation for Lorna will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3, followed by a funeral service from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
