Mr. Luigi Domenico Quintieri

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luigi Domenico Quintieri, born September 15, 1925 in San Sisto, Calabria, Italy. Luigi was an honourable, respected and hard-working man who loved spending time with his family. Beloved and devoted husband to Maria Quintieri. Father to Salvatore (passed), Delia and Victor. Grandfather to Luigi, John, Steven, Matthew and Mary. Luigi was the family patriarch, and will be missed by his brothers and sisters: Frank (Anna), Victor (Nancy), the late Maria, Delia (the late Bernardo), Julio (Palmira), Mario (Carmel), Mike (Bernice), Anna (Rosario), and Ida (Mario). Special thanks to Spectrum Health Care and the ICU Department at the HRRH Church Street Site for their compassionate care in Luigi’s final days. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Cooligan, Dr. Fishbein, Nurse Ibi, Nurse Festus, Jane Cornelius and Rosemarie. Luigi will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., North York, on Wednesday, December 17 at 6 to 9 pm and Thursday, December 18 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, 1789 Lawrence Ave. W., Toronto on Friday, December 19 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst St., Toronto.
