The Lord called her home to be reunited in heaven with her parents Giuseppe and Rosina, and her sister, Pia Virgone.
Luigina was the beloved wife and lifelong friend of more than 70 years to Girolamo Zicarelli, and the loving mother to Frank, Nina, Philip, George, and Diana.
She will be forever remembered as a kind, loving, and gentle soul who touched the lives of all she encountered, including the incredibly compassionate care teams at Runnymede Healthcare Centre and the St. Joseph’s Hospital Stroke Unit.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Sunday, October 30 from 2-5pm and Monday, October 31 from 7-9pm.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at St. Clare’s Parish at 11am.
PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church allowing the family some private time prior to the service.
Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Luigina Zicarelli be made to Runnymede Healthcare Centre, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and/or Operation Smile Canada.
PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend indoor funeral services, for those that feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so.
