Manuel Avila was born on March 8, 1934 in Faial, Azores, Portugal and passed away peacefully on December 26, 2017 at his home in Brampton.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Maria Silveira Avila; his devoted children, Carlos, Elsa, Edwino and Elizabeth; his cherished grandchildren, Pat, Michael, Christopher, Jade and Charlotte and his beloved great granddaughter Chole. He will be missed by all who knew him. Donations in his memory, may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
