Manuel Pereira

Manuel was born on January 22, 1964 in Sobreiro, Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal and passed away on September 24, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Dora; they just celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in August. She will treasure all the memories they made together throughout the years. He is the cherished father of George and Phillip, and adored grandfather to Ariana.

Manuel is the loving son to Cecilia and António (predeceased). Loving brother of Carlos (Abilia) and uncle to Stéphane.

He will be missed by his mother in law, Benilde.

Manny’s selfless personality and ability to help others with open arms will be forever remembered. Sporting CP gained a heavenly fan. He is endlessly loved and will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends in Canada, Portugal, and France.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so.

A funeral service and burial will take place at a later date, as he will be laid to rest back home, in Portugal.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Manuel can be made to the Diabetes or Cancer Foundation.
