Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his 85th year at Mackenzie Health Centre on April 30th, 2016. Survived by his daughters Licia (Emilio), Anita (Joseph), Tina and Lucy, amazing Nonno to Victor, Christina, Mark Winsor, Robert, Paul, Alex, Mark Bonifazi, and Marco, sweet bisnonno to Alessandro and Halli, brothers Rocco, Lenny and Paul; sisters Inesa and Lina. Predeceased by his beautiful wife Esterina, sweet daughter Rosetta and dear sister Concettina. Marco was a well-respected, smart and caring pillar in the Toronto Italian community as both an entrepreneur and business man who became close to many a result of his outgoing and loving nature.
Coming to Canada in 1952 he and his wife, like many, sought out a new and better future for themselves and through hard work and dedication realized their dream. Marco believed in family, friends, love and laughter.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada in Marco's name would be appreciated by the family.
