Uncle Marcus always left an impression no matter where he went! His flamboyent character and teddyboy image was mirrored by that of a devouted husband to his wonderful wife Kay and loving father to Marty. 

We have fondest memories of his visits to Ireland where he shared family meals in our home. Our young daughters were always intrigued by his antics... thinking he was a magician able to blow smoke circles through his mouth and nostrils! I can still see their excitement as they chanted..."unkie marie moke"...I am so glad he didn't teach them ant of his tricks!

Our deepest sympathy is extended to Marty and family circle.
May he rest in peace.

Uncle Marcus had this deep, husky voice that I loved to listen to. Being the youngest in our family meant that I was the cutey Doll as he called me. of course I got to sit on his knee. I know he will be missed by his family and friends.

Uncle Marcus was the coolest Uncle ever. I remember when he would come to Ireland for a visit and he'd wear this neon royal blue suit and his slicked back hair and these ridiculous white shoes ( where do you even find items like these? - really? tell me ... ) And he'd call everyone a 'living doll' no matter what the store clerk did for him, whether it was gathering candy for him or placing items into shopping bags - EVERYONE was a 'living doll' and he made everyone feel so great. He was not your 'typical' Saturday shopper, that's for sure! Northern Ireland never saw the likes of him before and they likely never will again with his slicked back 'Elvis hair style' and crazy white shoes and a flashy neon blue ( he had a nicer wardrobe than me ! ) Uncle Marcus was definately 'one of a kind' - Sad regards on the passing of Uncle Marcus

We all have many fond memories of Marcus at family gatherings through the years, and especially appreciated the warmth and kindness he always showed to our children, Alex and Grace.  He was so wonderful with them, always taking the time to talk and visit with them, and admire their toys and fancy clothes.  Marcus was an amazing grandpa to my niece and nephew, Samantha and Brook, lavishing  them with gifts of toys, but more importantly, an abundance of attention, fun and love.  He undoubtedly played a big part in helping them become the wonderful  people they both are today.  Thank you, Pops, and rest in peace.

We knew Marcus for such a short time, he seemed to have a great life filled with lots of love and a great family. He will certainly be missed at Bay Ridges, he gave us many challenges but also gave us many, many laughs. We will miss you Marcus. With my deepest sympathies. Andrea DeLuca, Bay Ridges
