Marguerite Bolton

passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011, in Toronto, Ontario. She was born on August 28, 1945 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, and immigrated to Canada in 1970.

In the 70's and 80's Marguerite was a musician in many Toronto clubs, with her singing partners Sharon and Jan. She spent her life working with and supporting youth, the homeless, mental health consumer-survivors, and others in Manitoba and Ontario.

Marguerite was a much loved member of the Metropolitan Community Church (MCCT) choir for fifteen years.

She is remembered with great love and respect, by loving extended family members in England, her large family at MCCT, friends in Canada and England, and her former partner Joanne who cared for her with amazing love during her fight against cancer.

Marguerite's humour, wisdom, advice, strength, love and friendship will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 20th at 3:30 p.m., at Metropolitan Community Church, 115 Simpson Avenue, Toronto.
