

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 9, 11:00 am at Bloor Street United Church (300 Bloor St W, Toronto) followed by a reception.
Betty was born in 1931 and lived in Toronto throughout her life.
She had an active professional life working at Toronto Western Hospital. While working in Human Resources and Rheumatology Department, she developed and maintained a keen interest in health and well-being.
A life-long affiliation with the YMCA took her on many journeys including a trip to Europe as a young woman where she fell in love with Florence. With her family, she was a member of the Geneva Park YMCA community spending time there nearly every summer.
She was extensively involved with Victoria University (at University of Toronto). She actively supported the institution through the Victoria Women’s Association (VWA).
She attended Glendon College, York University’s Living and Learning in Retirement. She thoroughly enjoyed all the courses and the time with her classmates.
Betty appreciated the arts and artists. Throughout her life she attended plays, concerts, ballets, and loved art works of all kinds.
Bloor Street United Church was central to her. She was an active member for over 50 years consistently participating in the life and work of the church.
Betty is predeceased by her parents, Marguerite and Arthur Chafe; her brother, Arthur Chafe, and her loving husband, Arnold Noble. She is survived by her children, George (Lily) and Andrew (Sandra) Noble, her grandchildren, Grace and Thomas Noble, and her sister, Willie (Jack) Cox.
