Maria Di Benedetto

Maria was born in Pratola Peligna, L’Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 68 years, Parise. She was a loving mother to Joanne and the late Lucy (Tony), grandmother to Danny, Stephanie (Jay), Chris (Michelle) and Mark, and great-grandmother to Jesse. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Mario (Luisa) and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

We take comfort in knowing that Maria has been reunited with all of her many loved ones that have gone before her.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada to help those living with all forms of dementia.

It is with both sorrow and peacefulness that the family of Maria Di Benedetto (née Margiotta) announce her passing in her 99th year.
