

Maria Miceli was born on August 7th 1930 in Cosenza, Italy and passed away on July 14th 2020 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 89 years. Maria was predeceased by her beloved husband Aldo. She is the loving Mother of Julianna (George), Sergio (Paula), Rosanna (Peter) and Roberto (Melissa). Cherished Grandmother of Wendy, Jason, Zelandrya, Stefanie, Stefano, Angelyka, Massimo and Melissa, and Great Grandmother of Julianna, Mason, Lucas and Jax.
Maria enjoyed gardening and was known for her love of flowers. She was cherished by the students at Massey College who referred to her as “Mama” because of her caring nature and excellent home style cooking. She will be loved, deeply missed and forever remembered by all of her family and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Friday, July 17th 2020, from 4pm to 8pm.
The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, July 18th 2020 at 10am at St. Clare’s Catholic Church

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS
The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated:
• Permitted gathering sizes inside a building for funeral visitation and chapel services, will be up to 30% of the maximum room capacities (excluding funeral staff) while maintaining the six foot physical distancing rule.
• Gathering sizes for outdoor services is limited to a maximum of 50 (excluding funeral staff) while maintaining the six foot physical distancing rule.
• Further to the Registrar’s Guidance issued on June 15, 2020, wearing masks or face coverings is mandatory for all persons (funeral staff and attendees) inside all funeral establishments or any other indoor setting where a funeral or visitation is held
The Funeral Home staff will be responsible for monitoring these numbers and will be collecting contact information from each visitor, as per the Health Authority’s guidelines.
Visitation Information
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, during the visitations, a select few will be allowed into the building at a time. If you are not allowed entrance into the funeral home, you will be expected to wait in your vehicle, and not at the entry or outside of your vehicle. Each attendee will need to log their name and phone number before entering. A mask or cloth facial covering is required. Physical distancing includes no physical contact with the family present or others at the services, at any time (for your safety and theirs). Thank you for your understanding during this time.
Church information
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions that are currently in place, there is a reduced number of people permitted in the church (30% capacity with social distancing guidelines in place). Once the church has reached the limited capacity including the family, no one else will be permitted to enter the church. All people entering the church will be required to wear a face covering for the Mass as well as provide their name and phone number at the church. A mask or cloth covering is required at church.
