Maria De Lourdes Moreira

While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

Born in Sao Miguel, Portugal on November 9th, 1943, she was one of four children of Francisco Valente and Bernardina Mota. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 59 years, Manuel Natal Arraial Moreira, son Manuel Moreira, daughter, Dolores Flagg, son-in-law John Flagg and her only granddaughter, Estrella Flagg. She will be dearly missed by her surviving sister, Hermina Soares and all her nieces and nephews, as well as her special bond with her niece, Connie Feitor, and her family.

Flowers are welcome at the church/funeral home or as an expression of sympathy; donations towards expenses in memory of Maria to her husband, Manuel Moreira would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

In honor of her final wishes as well as her upbringing, Maria does not want a reception afterwards but prefers to go in a quiet, peaceful manner.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 1, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-9:00pm at Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E 1B1

Funeral service will be held on Friday August 2, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 1481 Dufferin St. Toronto

Entombment to Follow at Prospect Cemetery.
