Maria Taormina

Maria Taormina was born on November 18, 1934 in Termini Imerese, Palermo, Sicily, Italy and passed away on July 17, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 88 years.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Giuseppe Antonio (1999)

Loving mother of Gino (Agostina), Agostino (Anna), Angelo (Christine), and Joe (Susanna)

Cherished nonna of Michael (Diana), Daniel (Andrea), Antonio (Irena), Matthew, Joseph (Natalie) and Julia.

Beloved bisnonna to Dominic, Luca, Gabriel, Sebastian, Mia, Henry, William, and babygirl on the way.

She is the sister of Filipo (Predeceased), Nino, and Cosima.

Maria will be dearly missed by her best friends Concetta, Maria, and Pina.

She will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 4:00pm-8:00pm The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 21, 2023 at St. Clare Roman Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. at 10:30am.

PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church allowing the family some private time prior to the service.

Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W.
