An amazing if not awesome Lady.  Mina you are God's precious gift to me.  Your loving friendship, kindness, such generosity of spirit and your infectious patience mirrored God's love to me and others.  These are the values you've taught me to embrace and I shall hold on to each one of them.  These are the values you've modeled all throughout your life.  The world was too small for you  Mina to let your beautiful light shine through...  And you may disagree but that's truly who you are!  I have said this all before of how most unique YOU truly are and so to lose you so soon breaks my heart into pieces.  I shall forever cherish our great times together especially our silly and rare "kikay" days, those amazing yet seemingly unending moments of laughter and tears which we shared back in college or at your home in Pasig, and all those years that followed thereafter.  How time flies indeed.  You've been a great inspiration to me more than you'll ever know. You're more than a best friend. You were my soul mate, my confidante!!!.  Thank you my dear for adding colour to my life.  Be it as it may we shall meet again.  Mina allow me to say, you were my gentle, sweet and most caring Sister!  I shall miss you more than ever, I feel a deep void now that you're gone. But you are with our Lord Jesus and that is what enables me to smile and it brings some comfort to my soul. You were my very first friend when we moved to Navy Village in Fort Bonifacio. I remember you sharing chocolates (3 Musketeers!!) and inviting me to bike rides around the village after school. We were both only 12 yo. And you reached out, made me feel special. You helped make my transition to a new home so much easier. Until we see each other again, my dear Mina...watch over all of us here left behind, that we be more sensitive to the Lord's murmurings and His gentle nudges, that we look out and take better care of each other, this side of heaven.

Dearest cousin, we shared a happy childhood running and playing in the sun like there was no tomorrow.  These things will always remind me of you…chocolate cake, pine trees, haute couture sketches, the hula, the swing, make-up, books and more books, late nights, gentle smiles, laughter,  song and even pain.  Now you've gone ahead and made it home, how we will all miss you! Till we meet again, Mina…you will always be remembered with love.

Farewell Mina. You are now in the divine care of our Creator. Eternal light shine upon you as you journey to our Lord's heavenly abode where you will find comfort with Uncle Pete, Auntie Mila and Raffy. Rest in peace my dear cousin.
