Marilyn Sandra Foster

Marilyn Sandra Foster went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:22 p.m. surrounded by her loving family at Centenary Hospital. Born on February 22, 1950, in Toronto, Ontario, Marilyn lived a life rooted in faith, prayer, and unconditional love. A devoted Christian, she walked closely with God, living out her faith in every word she spoke, every relationship she nurtured, and every life she touched. Marilyn had a remarkable gift for leaving people better than she found them. Her kindness was quiet but powerful, her prayers unwavering, and her heart endlessly generous. She had an unforgettable laugh and a unique ability to make everyone feel seen, loved, and deeply cared for. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Shirley and Irving Nusinoff, and her dear sister, Randi. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Richard Foster, and her cherished children: David Foster (Amanda), Daniel Foster (Shamara), Elizabeth Okafor (Henry), Jonathan Keating, and Anthony Keating. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Mark Nusinoff (Barbara), and her brother-in-law, Michael Daniels. Marilyn was a proud and adoring grandmother to Malachi, Sarah, Favor, John, Joseph, Joshua, Christabelle, Gabriel, Brielle, Meribelle, and Israel. Her legacy of love and faith will live on through each of them. Marilyn’s passion for writing and her love of art were evident in the heartfelt birthday and Christmas cards she created for her family and friends. Her life was a living testimony to God's love — a legacy that will continue to ripple through generations.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the MS Society of Ontario in Marilyn's memory.

A Visitation for Marilyn will be held Monday, September 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM in the Chapel. A burial will occur at Thornton Cemetery.
