Marlene Ann Gaspari

February 25th 1939 - May 30th 2025. Beloved wife of Leo (1969). Firstborn of Isla Macbeth Johnson nee Beaton (2016). Loving Mother of Terry, Leo (Helen) and Andy (Cheryl). Grandmother to Angela, Christina (Steve), Kylie (Steve), and her “main man” Paul (Tessy). Great Grandma “Gigi” of Ariana and Elayna and Baby Gaspari to be.

Predeceased by grand-daughter Jessica (2023) and daughter-in-law Lenne (2024). Marlene was an expert baker and cook, she loved to knit and do crafts, she was a plant enthusiast, a storyteller, an avid reader and royalist. She was caring, kind and thoughtful, and definitely the strongest and most independent person in the family (or that most of us have ever met). Even still she was always extremely close with her boys who were always there for their mom.

Marlene had a very large extended family as well, 3 sisters, 6 brothers, countless nieces and nephews, and she had a special place in her heart for each and every one of them.

She will be missed by so many, but as much as we will miss her, we know that she is at peace and finally reunited with her Leo, who she has been missing for all these years.
