Mary Brooke Harrison passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 80. Born April 25, 1945, Mary was a selfless, devoted, compassionate, and thoughtful woman whose steady presence and quiet strength will be deeply missed. Mary was a resident of Toronto, Ontario.
Brooke worked for Bell Canada for most of her career, bringing dedication and care to her work over many years.
For 46 years, Brooke shared a loving life with her beloved partner, Patrick Viscount. They met while scuba diving, a beginning that reflected the spirit of curiosity and connection that Mary carried throughout her life.
Volunteering was a great part of Brooke's life. She brought comfort to others by taking therapy dogs to visit hospitals, and she volunteered for Christmas dinners at the East York Community Centre for 24 years. Brooke also volunteered for an intergenerational group that taught at Westwood Public School, giving her time and attention to building community across ages.
Brooke's memory will be held close by all who knew and loved her.
