Mary Hill, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who said her age was 49.2 years, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2023, surrounded by her family at Scarborough General Hospital.
Mary was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 65 years Verne (d. 2021), and her caring son Steve (d. 2008) (Monica). Mary leaves behind sons David, and Peter (Marilyn), daughter Susan, nine wonderful grandchildren: Emma, Adrian, Samantha (David), Jessica (Patrick), Jacob (Ryan), Andrew (Emma), Julia, Shawn, Shannon, and two precious great grandchildren: Avery and Sutton.
Mary cherished her friends and family. If she knew your birthday, you could count on a birthday card or birthday call from her every year. Mary also loved her work as an Educational Assistant at Pauline Johnson where she touched many lives.
Visitation for Mary will be held at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. on Monday, March 20th, 2023, from 4 to 8 pm. Mary’s funeral service will occur at 11 am on March 21st, 2023, with a reception following from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm also at the O’Connor Funeral Home. Interment will take place after the reception, at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road.
