Mavis Lillian Nicholson passed away on July 12, 2017 at the age of 97 years, with complications from congestive heart failure. Mavis was born and raised in Toronto by her parents George Aplin and Ella (nee Cober) Aplin on March 31, 1920. Mavis was pre-deceased by her husband Leonard William Nicholson and her five siblings. Mavis is survived by her daughter Carol Lipinski (nee Nicholson) of Niagara, her son Larry Nicholson of Toronto, her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Mavis gave of herself unconditionally to her family and friends and will be sadly missed. It was Mavis's wishes to be cremated, with no funeral service as per her request.
