Born in Toronto, ON she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Violet (Hull) Gorbett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salvation Army Church.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Erin Crawford of Toronto, ON; and common law partner Robert Newman of Miramichi.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Brian Douglas Gorbett.
