I was saddened to hear of Michaels passing. We were both member/moderators of a Flikr photo group for the last few years. I did not know him personally however know he was a man who touched many. His comments and words of encouragement will be missed.

Michael and I spoke on line through a shared interest in photography for a number of years. Michael struck me as being a kind and caring individual. He illustrated this not so long ago to me when I suffered a serious illness. Michael was supportive and showed genuine concern even though he was coping with his own health issues.

My most sincere condolences to Michael's partner, family and friends.

what a shock to hear this, although I didn't know Michael personally, we were online buddies and commented on each other photos posted on the photography website Flickr, where he was also a moderator in the 52 weeks group. I will miss your pictures. RIP,

So sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I have never met him and my only contact with him has been through photography. It saddens me to know that this dear soul has died so young. Rest in peace, friend.

I'll miss Michael's wonderful photos and comments that he posted on Flickr. We both helped to moderate a photo group and his input and suggestions were always very much appreciated. Thoughts and prayers.

I never met Michael, but knowing his parents I have no doubt that he was a man of intellect & curosity, had an intense love for travel & adventure and was compassionate & loving toward his fellowman. Peace and prayers.
