Michael was a part of our family for many years and was such a special man. He had many talents including a passion for cooking, an amazing gift as a musician and a love for woodworking. He loved his family and was a wonderful dad to Cameron and Jessie. My heart goes out to them and his whole family and group of friends who will miss him dearly. 

To Michael's family:

My brother Gary and I are shocked and saddened to learn of your terrible loss. We knew Michael when we all lived in Beacon Hill North. We loved it when Michael came for a visit, because he would have everyone laughing. We remember him as a kind, caring, creative person with an incredible sense of humour. We offer our condolences.


My deepest condolences to Michael's family, and especially to Cameron, Jessie, and Alicia.
Michael was a truly charming and talented individual, whose love of music, woodworking skills, and culinary expertise will be remembered by many.

I  am a neighbour who had chats with Michael and had one particular memorable day when I sat down in his place and played guitars together. 
I was impressed with his talent and learned that one of his passions was fabricating his own acoustic guitars. Unfortunately, we never got  to play together again due to respecting Covid precautions. 
He was a quiet but friendly fellow and l wished I had gotten to know him better.

I wish to extend my condolences to his family and friends.

Such a horrible shock for everyone who knows and loves Michael. My heart goes out to you all and I am holding my memories of Michael close.  In those memories, Michael is usually either wearing long  planks of wood on his boots or is crafting sections of lumber into something truelly beautiful. They, like our shared memories, will endure.
