

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michele Antonio Scauzillo on December 10, 2010. Mike passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his daughter and with family. Mike will now be united with his beloved wife, Nina Scauzillo (nee Eufrasia Mansueti) A loving and devoted father, he will be deeply missed by his beloved daughter Antonietta “Tonie” Scauzillo. Michele will be remembered by his brothers, Adolfo and Rocco, his sisters Carmela and Concettina, his brother-in-law Mike Gliatta, and sister-in-laws Ida and Tanina. He is fondly remembered by his nephews and nieces and extended family. His daughter extends deepest gratitude for the medical care supporting Mike: his long time GP, Dr. J. Blumenstein; Dr. Salama and Christine of St. Joseph’s Pain Clinic; the community nurses of Saint Elizabeth Heath Care, (Bonnie, Barbara and Sergey); the pharmacy team of Shoppers Drug Mart-Yorkdale; Eldercare Home Health and their staff of caregivers; CCAC team and PSWs. His daughter is ever so grateful to Myrna for her kind, generous, happy nature, and being so good with her care of him. Michele will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Family and friends will be received at DELMORO FUNERAL HOME, 61 Beverly Hills Dr., (1 light south of Wilson Ave., west of Jane St. – 416-249-4499) on Monday, December 13, 2010 from 7 – 9 pm and Tuesday December 14, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in ST. NORBRT ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (On Regent Rd. north of Wilson Ave.). Entombment to follow at WESTMINSTER CEMETERY (On Bathurst Street north of Finch Avenue). In Michele’s memory, donations to The Lung Association or The Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
