Michelina Farisco

God called Michelina Farisco on October 29, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Ariano Irpino, Italy, on October 17, 1943, Michelina and her family moved to Mercedes, Argentina in 1950 and then again to Toronto, Canada in 1966, bringing with her the warmth, passion, and pride of her Italian and Argentinian roots. She was a dedicated, hardworking and selfless woman, whose kindness touched everyone she met. Above all, she devoted her life to her family, who were her greatest pride and joy.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her parents, Pietro and Maria, and sister Rosalia. Michelina will be forever missed by her nephews, Sergio (Paula) and Hernan, her brother-in-law Julio, and her great nephews and nieces, Christian (Joanna) and Emily (Rory). She was also the proud and loving great great aunt of Julia, Sophie, and Liam. Michelina will be fondly remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the countless conversations she shared with her clients in the salon chair over the years.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in Michelina’s memory to Diabetes Canada, a charity that held a special place in her heart and that she gave generously to over the course of her life.

Visitation will take place at Jerrett Funeral Home (1141 St. Clair Avenue West) on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 2:30-4:30 pm and from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, November 13, at 10:30 am at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church (540 St. Clair Avenue West), with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum (4570 Yonge Street)
