I have so many fond memories of “Meester Mike” he was always so good to me and during my younger teenage years he was very protective when we were on any midway! I loved spending my summers with their family and adored being able spend time with little Mike jr. Watching him with Jr. doing cash runs was always one of my favorites. Little Mike Jr would run into the stands (some wouldn’t even know who he was) then Jr would grab all the money, Mike would say hey hey you give me that and he would hand Mike some money and say ok but I get the pink and brown ones and run out of the stands. Meester Mike would just shake his head and yell Michael and head out after him. Everyone was always scared of Meester Mike but boy that little one was the light of his life, and everyone who knew Meester Mike knew his Family was his everything! Of course it didn’t take long to realize he was a marshmallow to anyone he chose to let into his inner Family circle. My words can not express my sadness for the Zdebiak /Yeo/Lavallie Families but know my thoughts and prayers are with you all!❤️

I will never forget Meester Mike, gave me my first job and taught me that hard work was worth it. His humor, his temper, his love for his family and his business will stay with me forever. My condolences for Joan and Mike, love you guys, miss you dearly. My heart is with you.

A man we always looked forward to seeing, sitting and trading stories. He was a great friend and a special person. To say we are sorry he lost the battle is a understatement. To his family we send our love and please know if you were in need of anything, we would be first in line to help. Because he was such a god person we know that God will take good care of him .
Love to all who loved Mister Mike ❤️

As a teenager I was scared and intimidated by Meester Mike when I first worked for him & Joanne @ The Calgary Stampede but by the end of it, he was picking out boys on the midway for me, babysitting Michael haha (there are way more stories to be told there) this had continued for many many many years !!! Once I got to know Meester Mike he was just a big ole teddy bear. My heart and condolences go out to Michael, Joanne and Laurie and to rest of the the Zdebiak family. May you Rest In Peace

I have the most amazing memories of Mike. He was a father figure to me in my years working for him, and I will always be thankful to him for guiding my life in the directions it needed to go. I’ve never learned so much from one person. My love and thoughts are with Joanne, Michael, Laurie, and Fluffy (who undoubtedly will be lost without him). The world is a little less exciting without Meester Mike. Xoxo

Mr. Mike, I became a hard worker due to the fact that he always pushed me thru, he tough me so much I worked with him for a long time since I was like 14, even took me to Canada to work all summer. I remember he took me to my first Italian restaurant I ate so much he was making fun of me. We used to call him grumpy man. He was such a great man. He will be missed. My heart is with Michael and his mom.
