BECKBERGER, Minnie (nee Cooney) - Passed away peacefully at the Ajax Rouge Valley Hospital on Monday, October 31, 2011 in her 91st year. Loving mother of Doug, Bill, Debora Ann and Janice. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Mark, Vicky, Wendy, Robert, Jennifer, David, Warren, Brendan, Gordon and Craig, 5 great-grandchildren: Kaylah, Kylah, Haileigh, Mackenzie and Stirling and her sister Janet Scheifele. Minnie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold, her brother Geordie "Tar" Cooney and sister Alice MacIntosh. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Minnie was a longtime member of Cosburn United Church and dedicated many years of volunteer work at Woodgreen United Church and True Davidson Acres. Visitation will be held at Trull Danforth Funeral Home, 1111 Danforth Ave., Toronto, on Thursday, November 3rd from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at the Hanover Cemetery on Saturday, November 5, 2011.
