Mohamed "Wardee" Kazim

A beautiful life that came to an end. It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to Mohamed Kazim(Wardee), who left us on January 28 at the age of 66. Wardee was born on June 13, 1958 in Lequan, Guyana to pre-deceased parents Bibi Raqueen and Shunka Raja. Wardee devoted his life to the art of being a skilled tradesman. He didn’t just build with his hands—he built with his heart, shaping not only the physical world around him but also the lives of those who knew him. From home renovations to electrical, he was a jack of all trades.

His meticulous attention to detail and tireless effort to help others were a testament to his pride in his craft. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 30 years, Sunita. He's was the proud father of Shabana and the late Kyle Kazim.; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Bryan and Andrew; He was the proud brother of Zorida, Shak, Bibi, Salim, Selena and the late Nazeem. He will also be deeply missed by all his brothers and sisters in-laws. Son in law of Babs, and the late Richard Harnaraine.

He was the loving uncle of Ansar, Atiyah, Rivard, Syzad, Wazim, Gamal, Sherry, Matthew, Sara, Sean, Ryan, Christopher, Felicia, Shelly, Kevin, Eric, Nicholas, Tyler, Ethan, Jason and Emma, among others.

Wardee warmth, wisdom, and love will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will continue to inspire all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends and colleagues whose lives he touched with his kindness and integrity.

In our hearts a memory will always be kept. May his soul rest in peace.

A visitation for Wardee will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5. A burial will occur Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON M1K 1R1.
